    … people who like Christmas decorations start their gift shopping significantly earlier than those who don't like them. Among the latter, there are many of those who don’t celebrate Christmas and don’t buy presents (for various reasons - often because they have nobody to buy gifts for). Lovers of Christmas decorations are also more likely to bake all the Christmas cookies at home (45%) compared to those who don't like decorations (only 30%).

    ...13% of Czechs don't like Christmas ads. But if you're cheering others like them, hold back. Another 29% of Czechs said that they absolutely don’t like any ads. The good news is that even the biggest advertising critics share all Christmas values and symbols.

    ...people who don't like Christmas ads are more often men, more often have a university degree, and a large share of such Czechs can also be found among young people under 24 y.o.

    ...10% of Czechs, on the other hand, like Christmas commercials. They are more often parents (esp. mothers) of children. You can hit this group online with topics such as celebrity gossip, improving and decoration of a flat/house, fashion, healthy lifestyle, but also the black chronicle.

    ...rejection of advertising in general is influenced by life-situation. Czechs who don’t like advertising are often old, less wealthy people. They also spend Christmas alone more often. So, you can't really be surprised if you serve them young, fresh, happy, and desirable guys and girls enjoying life in every other ad that you won't quite win them over.
